About Me

I'm John Huntington, author of Control Systems for Live Entertainment, the first book on show control and entertainment control systems. Through Zircon Designs, I do consulting and design work on entertainment control, show control, and audio systems, but this site contains many non-commercial resources related to entertainment, technology, and anything else I find interesting.

Quoted on Brooklyn Vegan

I follow more than 200 feeds in my Google Reader, but I only have three in my "Read Daily" folder: Gothamist, Boing Boing, and Brooklyn Vegan.  So, I was reading Brooklyn Vegan's entry on Gogol Bordello (click to see some great photos by Tracy Allison) and thought the text was mighty familiar.  That's because I wrote it!  He or she (it's always been a bit of a mystery) quoted my blog entry.  So now, I'm officially famous.

John- you were famous before!
Anyway, just be happy you were quoted and cited correctly, right?

Famous or Infamous? subtle but distinct difference. me, I often crave the latter than the former
