I'm leading/organizing a few things in and around NYC that are open to anyone interested, so I thought I'd post them here.

This Saturday (8/30) I'm co-leading the last open kayak paddle of the season at the Sebago Canoe Club on Jamaica Bay here in Brooklyn. I'm also organizing a Delaware river paddling trip for NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) grads from NYC Sunday (8/31) morning. Space permitting, interested non-NOLS grads are welcome to join us.

Next Saturday and Sunday (9/6-7), through the NYC Skeptics, I've organized trips to the NY Renaissance Faire and also to the NY Hall of Science to see the Science of Illusion exhibit.  See the NYC Skeptics event calendar for details. (Well, at least that last event is somewhat on topic.)
