The Vanderbilt Republic's "Spectrum II" Lighting Installation

I went down tonight to check out The Vanderbilt Republic's Spectrum II", a "Photographic Monument by Colin Bowring and George del Barrio".  It's an "analog" installation, meaning they used a bunch of ETC Source IV's, but it looks pretty cool (although a bit dimmer in person than you see here).  They are having a reception tomorrow.  I have more photos here, and here's a little making of video:

A Photographic Monument (http://vanderbiltrepublic.com/pm) by Colin Bowring + George Del Barrio × http://easterneffects.com... This half-mile light sculpture will evolve nightly through two weeks of research, transforming the frame of the Smith-9th street bridge into a canvas for ecstatic creation. An artist reception 16 January will feature an original site-specific light installation within the project space of Gowanus Loft (http://vanderbiltrepublic.com/gl). http://vanderbiltrepublic.com/post/105277364275/spectrum-ii
