Spoon

With a bunch of friends I saw Spoon last night at the Celebrate Brooklyn benefit, and it was a fantastic show.  White Rabbits, one of the openers was also great.  Jay Reatard, the first opener, was absolutely horrible--how they got booked onto this show is a mystery to me.  The sound, as almost always at CB, was very good.  And I must have seen 1/2 a dozen of my students, one of whom got me VIP passes, and I took this photo from the VIP section:
