Mountain Storm Chasing

With a rare moderate risk issued for New York state, Jennifer B, John M and I targeted the area near Walkill, NY, which was in the center of the highest SPC tornado probability for today and also ended up in the tornado watch area. Most importantly, this was the the only area we could find in this hilly, wooded area with some open vistas!  We ended up just north of the only tornado warned cell on the whole line, but if there was any rotation in there it was rain wrapped, and the the storm overall was probably the least photogenic I've ever seen.  But we did get a little raggedy stuff at the front end of the bow echo:
