Sebastian Errazuriz's very cool "bluMarble" on Ludlow street
I went yesterday at sunset to see Sebastian Errazuriz's beautiful "bluMarble" on Ludlow street in the east vilalge. It's a very cool art piece with an LED wall showing a processed version of the GOES-East Full Disk weather satellite view of the earth.
It's up at 159 Ludlow Street until April 13.
I actually saw this satellite, formerly called GOES R and then 16, get launched back in November of 2016
