Before and After the Demolition of the Coney Island Astrotower
The Coney Island Astrotower, from the former Astroland, was demolished over the weekend. I've shot thousands of photos at Coney Island (none when riding the tower, though, which I did in the pre-DSLR days), so I dug out a few recent shots that contained the tower, and went down tonight to try and recreate the photos. It's pretty hard to do, and the original photos came from four different cameras, but here's what I got:
