Seaside Heights After Sandy

Seaside Heights New Jersey, devastated by Sandy, just recently reopened to the public--I tried to get in on Christmas Eve but the entire town was closed to non-residents. The beach is still off limits but you can see the extent of the damage pretty clearly from behind police lines.  The entire boardwalk is just gone:

Not many local businesses, have reopened, but Steaks Unlimited is back up and running until 3am and I had a great Cheesesteak there! 

I look forward to going back this summer and seeing the progress.
