Parade of Blimps Over the Hudson

As a kid, I was fascinated ​by blimps.  I wrote school papers on them and put together a light-up model of the Goodyear blimp. One day, bored in the Eastern Shore summer heat, I heard a distant sound.  The Goodyear blimp!  That blimp flying over our back yard was the highlight of my summer. So, when I heard that there was to be a parade of Van Wagner blimps over the Hudson, I had to ride my bike down to the Verrazano-Narrows bridge and shoot a few pictures:
