Show Networks and Control Systems Book Now Available! Win a Free Copy!

Show Networks and Control Systems is now available!  You can now order a copy here.

I've been working on this project since last fall, and it's exciting to finally be able to make it available to everyone. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and a big shout out goes to my fanastic production team: Aaron Bollinger, who did the excellent interior graphics; Netta Rabin, who helped me with the interior layout and created the beautiful cover from a documentation snapshot I took at last year's Gravesend Inn; and Cindy Nowicki, my copy editor, who pointed out all my bad comma usage and found way too many editing-induced sentence fragments.

For now, you can only buy the book here on my site; at some point, I'll roll it out to Amazon.  Eventually I'm planning to release an e-book version, but I don't like any of the current solutions, and it's not a trivial undertaking with all the formatting, tables, in this book (besides, most of my readers want it in print or don't care anyway).

If you want a copy and you're going to be at the HOPE or NATEAC conferences, let me know, and I can bring one for you.

Now, onto the details of the giveaway!

In celebration of the release, I'm going to give away a free copy to my blog reader who can come closest to guessing the number of times I use the word "Ethernet" in the 492 pages of the book.

Everyone who enters will be emailed a special $5 discount code for the book.

Enter here before Monday, July 16th at noon NYC time.

Notes:

  • Free shipping included to any US winner.

  • I will delete all gathered email addresses after July 16 unless you opt in.
