Supermoon Over Brooklyn

I shot this from my roof with an Orion SkyQuest XT6 Classic Dobsonian Telescope and a Nikon P7000

Wish i could have seen it. Completely cloudy here in Berkeley. I did learn the word perigee, though.
the point in the orbit of the moon or a satellite at which it is nearest to the earth. The opposite of apogee .

Fantastic shot, do you have a mount for the P7000 or did you just 'freehand' it?

@Nick, thanks for the kind words! I have a mount, but it was so frustrating to use (since the moon filled the whole eyepiece) that I just ended up freehanding it.
