Holiday Trip Report Part VI: Clifden to Lough Inagh

This is a continuation of my trip report; Part V is here.

On the next morning (Day 6), I was feeling a lot more energetic, and Virgina and I decided to start out the day doing the "sky road", which we were both too tired to ride the day before. This put us behind the group a bit, but we figured it was worth it, and it was:

We ended up missing a turn, and ended up in Cleggan just as the sky opened. We went into a pub to wait out the storm, and ended up waiting about 1/2 an hour for some hot chocolate, but got time to see a bit of this interesting town's pub.

We picked up the ride and eventually caught the group at lunch time, passing through more beautiful (shoulderless) Irish roads.

We also passed one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, which most definitely does not look like it's in Ireland:

After 40 miles, we made it to the beautiful Lough Inagh Lodge.

Day 7 was very rainy, and so we started out the day with a trip to Kylemore Abbey.

And they have a beautiful garden:

After lunch, we did a 12 mile loop ride in the rain, and when I was flying down a hill I almost got taken out by two sheep. (No photos of that).

Before we move onto my final report, here's a time lapse I shot out my window.
