About Me

I'm John Huntington, author of Control Systems for Live Entertainment, the first book on show control and entertainment control systems. Through Zircon Designs, I do consulting and design work on entertainment control, show control, and audio systems, but this site contains many non-commercial resources related to entertainment, technology, and anything else I find interesting.

Magical Robot Monkey

OK, this headline from Itricks caught my eye: Magician Takes Robot Monkey On The Road

From the Clacton Gazette:

MAGICIAN Michael J Fitch will soon be monkeying around with a new partner in crime – created by the same man who designed Knight Rider’s talking car.

The magic man, of Great Tey, will be joined on stage by a £6,000 anamatronic monkey called Charlie.

The robotic device was created by Ron Palmer of California-based company Axtell Expressions, who also created KITT, the car in the 1980s television series Knight Rider.
