Guy Laliberte Live

Forbes roughed it and travelled to the Caribbean sat down with Guy Laliberte, the billionaire owner of Cirque du Soleil. Mr. Laliberte started as a street performer in Quebec and now is one of the richest men in the world.  And he has a hopeful outlook for our business:

During a recession, "people will stop traveling and stop taking expensive vacations," he says. "But once in a while, they will want to forget their problems. And what will they look for? Entertainment."

The problem with that is that people these days are easily entertained. And, the less money they have, the cheaper the entertainment. Behold: Fox News.
