Olympics Opening Ceremony--Wow!

 

Wow, I watched the opening ceremony and it was absolutely stunning.  After giving them your zip code and local NBC affiliate, You can watch the whole thing here.

There's already some information online from High End Systems (now Barco) about some of the technical details.

I have to say that there was a lot of pretty incredible synchronization in the show, but even I was fooled, since some of the most impressive sync in the show (which apparently had 15,000 performers) involved no computers at all.  Watch the video to see what I mean.
