In Quebec

I'm in Quebec City to see The Image Mill, an amazing and massive son et lumiere by Robert Lepage celebrating Quebec's 400th Anniversary.  We saw it from a distance last night (we were running late due my bout with food poisoning in Vermont on the way up--I spent all night Sunday throwing up in the Brattleboro Econo Lodge and my fever just broke this morning), and are going over tonight to see it up close and talk to the people behind the scenes.  I hope to have a post up about it after I get home on Wednesday...

 I spent all weekend on the north fork of Long Island paddling, here's a picture (by Joan Byron) of me near Bug Light...

Nice photo of my old stomping grounds - I grew up in Sag Harbor but worked on fishing and Bay boats as a teenager.

food poisoning is the worst, hopefully is was not seafood.
