Paddling the Graveyard of Ships

Off Staten Island there is a place where ships have been dumped for many years, and so today Bonnie led a small group of us on a paddle there.  It wasn't particularly technical water or anything, but the consequences of capsizing into a submerged, rusty ship hull could be serious.  The day started out gray but was beautiful by the time we finished.  A few pictures from my online album (first photo by Bonnie, who has a write up here):
