About Me

I'm John Huntington, author of Control Systems for Live Entertainment, the first book on show control and entertainment control systems. Through Zircon Designs, I do consulting and design work on entertainment control, show control, and audio systems, but this site contains many non-commercial resources related to entertainment, technology, and anything else I find interesting.

If You See Something, Say Something

Last night, I saw If You See Something, Say Something, Mike Daisey's new show, now in previews at Joe's Pub. I'd previously seen Daisey's 21 Dog Years, How Theatre Failed America, and Great Men of Genius.  Daisey is a master story teller, and at his shows I always learn something, laugh a lot, and some times get choked up.  The show runs through November.
