Haven't been posting much because I've been working like crazy on the Gravesend Inn (our trial run is today), and I also took a group of 85 students to see the final dress rehearsal of Dr. Atomic at the Met yesterday.  I've seen a couple of John Adams' pieces before, and I thought the music yesterday was great. Sadly, Peter Sellars' libretto reached new heights of self-indulgence.

Robert Lepage is doing Damnation of Faust at the Met next month, and I'm definitely going to try to see that.  Holger Forterer is doing projections for that one and his work is always interesting (he also did Ka).
